"You must encourage one another each day."
ReplyDeleteThe life of faith is not easy. We face constant temptation. Our culture tries to pull us away. The support of others is so important. We help us each other to stay on the path of faith when life is difficult. A few words of encouragement can help us keep moving when we are ready to give in to temptation.
It seems that there are many in our world with "hardened hearts" - even though they claim to love God. We all need encouragement if we are to stay on the "right track" of doing God's will. In particular, I need to be encouraged about following through with God's greatest commandments - to love the Lord our God with all our hearts and our neighbors as ourselves. It is such a blessing to be part of a church family who is doing so much to exemplify that kind of faith!
