    Paul spends a good deal of time in Corinth. While he is there we are introduced to Priscilla. She becomes a leader in the early church. This is very important. For many have taught over the centuries, and even today, that women shouldn't be in leadership in the church. But here is a woman in the early church that is in leadership.

  2. It's good to have specific references to women in leadership roles in Bible times. It's pretty amazing how some churches ignore many passages such as this one and do what they've always done!

    I especially like verses 9 and 10: "Do not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you..." I appreciate the reminder that God is with us - no matter who or where we are!
