ReplyDeleteGod uses the persecution to scatter the Christians beyond Jerusalem. These Christians moved from place to place sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God used what was meant for harm, Saul's persecution, to bring about good. Yes, some individuals suffered in prison but the work of Jesus was advanced. Here is the question I want you to ponder. Are you willing to suffer for the advancement of the work Jesus calls us to? Or do you read such stories with relief that it is not you suffering?
