"God did this so men would seek him"

One of the clear messages in the bible is that God wants to live in relationship with humanity. God wants to share life with us. God does not force the relationship but continually invites us into relationship. The only question is how will we respond.

  1. This passage tells us that God knows our path-when we will be born, where we will go, what we will do, and when we will die. It is a true blessing to recognize when God is using you; when you realize that a series of unfortunate events is really a series of well-constructed and planned out events. There are actions that I take, or situations that I'm in, that make me question why God has me here, if He really wants me here, and what I'm supposed to do here. Maybe He hasn't revealed Himself in our path yet, or He is waiting for us to complete the task that has been laid out for us. When I'm waiting for God, sometimes I get frustrated, give up, and quit. I don't think this is what God wants us to do. The passage states that He has given us each a specific time and place so that we will reach out and seek Him. When we are feeling lost, or discouraged with what we are doing, it is then that we should respond by finding God through prayer. He wants to help us and guide us, He is just waiting for us to ask.
