1 Peter 5
This chapter has repeated calls to humility. The willingness to humble ourselves before one another is a characteristic that God cherishes in us. The first step in becoming a Christian is the willingness to confess our sins to God. That is an act of humility. An act that God wants us to carry forward in our lives.

If I could do the two things in verses 6 and 7, I think my life would be quite different. The first is to totally "humble myself" before God. The second is to cast all my cares upon Him. I know that we all have troubles in life as that is part of life! However, if we could daily give everyone of those troubles over to God, how different things would be!! I pray that God will help me to do these two things as I start every day.
