2 Timothy 3:14-17
In these words of instruction from Paul to Timothy, Paul makes it clear the role and value of scripture. Scripture equips us "for every good work". This equipping happens as we come to understand who God is, and how we are called to live in relationship with God and our neighbor. That is why it is essential to be reading scripture on a daily basis.

Since beginning the 10-and-10 I have not only grown in my faith, but I have found a peace that I didn't prior sense. Every passage seems to be speaking directly to me regardless of the situation I am in. The Bible used to be intimidating, with its many chapters, endless number of pages, small text and lack of pictures. It is no longer an intimidation, instead I look forward to and enjoy the time that I devote to God through reading His word. I know that after studying and thinking about the passage, I can find direction, support, and guidance.
