Ephesians 6:10-18
I am fascinated by how this passage describes our spiritual preparation for life. The description is one that prepares in anticipation that there will be struggles and difficulties. The preparation is done knowing that by faith we can deal with whatever comes at us in life. We are not just victims of what happens, but we can stand against the evil and struggles of life.

What a powerful passage! I appreciate Ken's comment on how this kind of faith will prepare us for whatever life brings. Sometimes I feel like such a "wimp" in stressful situations; I don't like them and don't often say the "right" thing! This reminds me of another familiar scripture: "My grace is sufficient for you; my power is made perfect in weakness." This was discussed in SS last week in that no matter how weak we feel, God's power is with us and WILL strengthen us. I thank God for that strength!
