Psalm 107 & 108
God's unfailing love is the driving thought of Psalm 107. "Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men" is the refrain the Psalmist keeps using to remind us that all else fails, except for the love of God.
After what our country has been through in the last year, this is a good refrain for us to remember. The economy may collapse, many people will lose their jobs, most everyone lives with a sense of economic uncertainty, there is disagree amount about the direction of our country, but let us "give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for" us. By having this refrain at the core of our lives, it keeps our hearts on God.
