Psalm 119:113-176
"I have put my hope in your word"
We use the word "hope in many ways. We "hope" it will rain. We "hope" that our team will win. We "hope" for the doctor to say there is no problem. We "hope" our family will be blessed. We "hope" our friend will have a good day. We "hope against hope" that something will happen. We use "hope" in so many ways, from casual comments about the weather to matters of life and death, that we forget the power of the word.
"I have put my hope in your word" means that I believe, desire or trust in God's word. This sentence is a statement of faith of how the Psalmist views his life. He has placed his future in following God's word. Where is your hope?
