Our faith journey begins as we accept Jesus Christ as Lord. The acceptance of Christ is the beginning, it is not the final destination. We are invited every day to live in connection with Christ. With Christ being the foundation of who we are and how we live.

It's so amazing how spending a few minutes really "focused" on a scripture can make it so much more meaningful! (Thank you Ken, for taking the time to keep this blog going for us!) It's pretty common to hear people talk about when they became a Christian but less common to talk about what has happened since then. Verses 6 and 7 say so much: 6 "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, 7rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness." I pray that God will help me "live" my faith to a greater extent each and everyday - and to always be overflowing with thankfulness! That will only happen by spending more time with Him, studying scripture and listening to Him.
