2 Corinthians 9
"The service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God."
Paul continues his exhortation to the Corinthians as to why they should give in this chapter. One of his closing reasons is the thought that giving is an "expression of thanks to God." One of the ways that we give thanks to God for all that of God's generosity is by being generous to others.

Paul has such a positive way with words in urging an "attitude of gratitude." There is no doubt that this kind of attitude can change peoples' lives as we constantly praise God for His many blessings. A natural outcome of having this kind of attitude is sharing what we have with others. What a difference it would make in our city, nation and world if we all lived with this kind of gratitude instead of focusing on what we don't have - and always wanting more "stuff!"
